Editor’s Message February 2022

Valentines Day is one of my favorite holidays because it is all about love! Having love in our lives comes in so many forms—it could be romantic love, love for a child, grandchild, parent, pet, or all of humanity. In pondering love, how empty our lives would be without some type of love in it. Even God tells us in 1 Corinthians 13, ”The Greatest of these is Love,” which describes agape love, or unconditional love for one another. This month read about Michael and Sandra Evan’s love story, and how a simple note started a lifetime together (Page 12) .

I love February in Arizona, as the spring temperatures arrive and there are so many activities to take part in to show your love. This month is the 7th annual WVA Car show on February 27, which is always a fun event. The Fabulous Follies is on February 11 and 12, so mark your calendars for this lively production. See below the details for the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast on Saturday February 26. The Lions Club shows their love for the community by supporting vision and hearing loss programs.

On page 26, read about our own WV resident, Deborah Gardner, who is the reigning Mrs. American Queen. She shows her love by advocating to teach adults how to swim. So proud of you Deborah!

There are some great opportunities to hike, golf, go RV’ing, volunteer or whatever you love to do this month. Finally, we LOVE our advertisers, as they make this magazine possible. Please show your love by supporting them and let them know that you saw their ad in WV Living Magazine!

Wishing all of you love in your life,
Lori
